Job Description
Summary/objective
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for coordinating the purchasing process for the Purchasing & Maintenance Department as well as some purchases for other departments to ensure that procurement is fair, open and effective while maintaining the integrity of spending of public funds. The position is also responsible for office functions related to the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing & Maintenance Department.

Essential functions
· Obtains quotes, inputs purchasing requisitions, verifies invoices, and submits invoices for payment to the Business Office; opens and closes purchase orders as necessary
· Analyzes, maintains, and records purchases for the department to ensure the department stays within the allowed budget; tracks budgets for maintenance projects across campus
· Coordinates the preparation and review and/or solicitation of bids and bid specifications
· Coordinates quotes for board agenda items with the appropriate administrator
· Ensures purchases adhere to purchasing guidelines set by Federal and State law and the school’s board policies

Summary/objective

The primary responsibility of the instructor is to teach their assigned courses to the best of their ability. This responsibility is greater than all other responsibilities assigned. The instructor shall devote all professional capabilities, time, and talents to provide a program of meaningful learning opportunities to each student.

Essential Functions
· Plan and deliver high-quality instruction: Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and standards-based instruction that is differentiated to meet the needs of all students. Incorporate relevant technology and project-based learning activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Maintain records established by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Nurse Aid Registry, Oklahoma law, the Oklahoma State Department of Education, board policies, and administrative regulations.
· Ensure Student and Patient Safety: Lead instruction in long-term-care facility. Verify that all requirements are met by students to participate on the facility. Supervise student practice and guarantee the safety of student and patient.
· Uphold Nursing Standards: Remain up-to-date on graduation requirements for CNA candidates and adjust instruction for students to exceed the standard.
· Develop and assess student learning: Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to monitor and evaluate student learning and provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in data analysis to inform instructional decision-making.

During breaks and other times that the teacher is out of the lab, work on equipment shall be stopped and the lab will be locked. No one is to be left working in a lab during break time.
