Wonder Nature School is seeking a Private School Teacher to teach a group of students in Edmond, OK. The ideal candidate will be an organized individual who is Christ centered, able to follow directions, work hard, and keep a positive attitude. The teacher must be able to motivate a group of students and teach them effectively using innovative and creative methods. Additionally, the teacher should be kind, considerate, and passionate about helping children to love learning.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, ELA , and other subjects as assigned.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or issues.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Experience:
- Bachelor's OR Associates degree in Education or Childcare.
- Experience working with children in a school or daycare setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Functions
School Resource Deputy is a sworn position in which you are responsible for safety and crime
prevention in schools. Deputies work closely with administrators in an effort to create a safer
environment for both students and staff. The responsibilities of School Resource Deputies are
similar to regular Deputy Sheriff’s in that they have the ability to make arrests, respond to calls for
service, and document incidents. School Resource Deputies typically have additional duties,
including mentoring and conducting presentations on youth-related issues.
School police work is not for every law enforcement officer. Deputies considered for the position
have a strong desire to develop positive relationships with youth on a daily basis.
