The Secondary School Counselor serves students in grades 6-12, providing comprehensive support in academic planning, career exploration, and personal/social development. This role also includes coordinating standardized testing and assessments, ensuring compliance with all testing protocols, and managing related administrative tasks. The counselor works collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and staff to promote student success and well-being.
Masters in School Counseling or a related field.
Valid state certification as a School Counselor.
Experience in administering standardized tests and coordinating testing programs.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to school counseling and testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Middle or High school setting.
Familiarity with data analysis and interpretation.
Proficiency in using counseling and educational software.
Work Year: 210 Days
