Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of organizational systems and special education laws and practices.
Knowledge of Oklahoma and federal education laws/regulations and district policies.
Ability to make independent judgments.
Ability to keep and maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
Collaborates effectively with District staff, families, special education teachers, and the community for the purpose of planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating educational services and/or programs.
Ability to manage personnel and programs: Sets staffing levels for school special education programs for the purpose of providing services with fiscal efficiency. Directs personnel, for the purpose of delivering services that conform to established guidelines.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of curriculum and research-based programming.

Canadian Public School has an opening for an Assistant Football Coach. Canadian Public School is a district just north of McAlester, Oklahoma with about 450 students.
