Pre-Engineering Instructor
Job Summary:
Instructor will teach Pre-Advanced Placement and/or Advanced Placement Physics and Math
courses; and Project Lead the Way (Pre-Engineering) courses. Participate in the student selection
process. Ensure effective evaluation of student achievement. Support the development and
integration of technical and academic curricula. Provide classroom instruction as assigned.
Develop external partnerships that enhance student learning and access to higher education.
Work Days:
196 days per fiscal year
Compensation:
Based on GCTC certified salary schedule. Commensurate with experience and education:
$59,985-$76,348, plus competitive benefit package
Required Qualifications
BS Degree
Oklahoma State Department of Education Certification in physics and advanced math.
At least 3 years successful teaching in related area
Willingness to attend PLTW & AP training if applicant has previously not
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
10 years successful teaching in related area
