Job Description
Executive Director of Operations and Risk Management
Reports to: Superintendent
Supervises: Maintenance, Transportation, and Child Nutrition Directors and
Operation Office Personnel
Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate
Valid Oklahoma administrator’s certificate
Master’s degree in education administration or related field
Job Goal: Manages administrative functions of facility maintenance, and operational functions including facility planning and projects, safety training and security, school health, and employee wellness programs to ensure the safety of students and employees.
Employment Terms: 12 month contract
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Evaluation: Annually by superintendent, pursuant to board policies

Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees administrative policies and building administration as related to risk management. Oversees employee wellness program and employee assistance program.
Oversees the safety programs of the district; serves as training officer for the district.
Serves as compliance officer for civil rights, sexual harassment, Title IX, Section 504.
Administers the district's worker's compensation program.
Administers the district's unemployment compensation program.
Oversees nursing procedures, security guards, and crossing guards.
Serves as Asbestos Hazard Response Coordinator
Manages the operational areas of the district through subordinate supervisors.
Assists in the development of budgets for new construction, remodeling and general operations and maintenance of buildings.
Assists in overseeing expenditures in capital outlay and building budgets.
Oversees all facility projects.
Supervises maintenance staff, custodial services and staff and crossing guards.
Ensures completion of all maintenance work/projects in a timely manner.
Oversees transportation department and bus routes and transportation boundaries.
Assists the safety programs of the district.
Administers the district transfer policies including child accounting.
Oversees attendance boundaries.
Conducts student disciplinary hearings at level II.
Oversees all districts areas of insurance
Oversees district Energy Management program
Maintains inventory of district property
Review and approve all flyers or any information distributed to students or staff
Works with District Attorney on student truancy
Handles complaints from school patrons
Oversees child nutrition services
Manages the operational areas of the district through subordinate supervisors.
Assists in the development of budgets for new construction, remodeling and general
maintenance of buildings.
Oversees expenditures in capital outlay and building and site budgets and bond construction projects
Oversees all facility projects.
Assists in development/distribution of materials for school/business/community partnerships
Approves use of facilities for all sites.
Oversees Building funds
Oversees Operations budget
Oversees all bond construction projects
Responsible for all of the districts contracts and agreements.
Attends all Board of Education Meetings.
Perform all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
