ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the development, implementation, and communication of educational goals aligned with Mid-Del
Public Schools' strategic plan and district expectations for student achievement.
Provides strong educational leadership in organizing, developing, and administering the instructional program to ensure effective implementation of district curriculum and high-quality Tier I instruction.
Fosters a positive school climate that supports innovation, growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff and students.
Supervises, supports, and evaluates certified and non-certified staff in accordance with district policies and professional expectations to ensure effective teaching and learning.
Encourages and monitors collaborative instructional practices, including Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), to strengthen instruction and improve student outcomes.
Oversees custodial services, cafeteria operations, and other support services to ensure the school facility is clean, safe, efficient, and conducive to learning.
Implements effective discipline procedures and positive behavior supports that promote student accountability, safety, and a positive school culture.
Demonstrates knowledge of school finance and budget management and ensures expenditures align with district policies and Board of Education expectations.
Works collaboratively with district administrators, staff, families, and community partners to support the educational mission of Mid-Del Public Schools and performs additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
