Mission Statement: The principal tasks of the School Social Worker are to help students and families make the best use of available opportunities and resources, and to fully develop each student’s individual potential. The School Social Worker brings an understanding of psychosocial development of children and the influences of family, community, and cultural differences as they interact with the educational process.

Job Description:
1. Provide direct services to students and families through small group or individual counseling. 2. Provide support to students’ living situations (home, school, community) that affect adjustment in school, including truancy.
3. Collaborate with school, parents and other providers following the District’s student support system. (MTSS)
4. Mobilize school and community resources, forums and coalitions in order to enable the student to receive maximum benefit from the educational program.
5. Assist or train staff on topics such as trauma, prevention and mental health and wellness. 6. Participate in frequent program and student meetings.
7. Provide crisis intervention services and connect at-risk students to community resources. 8. Promote district-wide collaboration for substance abuse, bullying and other prevention programs.
9. Promote parent engagement through resources and educational opportunities. 10. Provide support to families experiencing homelessness as McKinney-Vento liaison. 11. Other related services as assigned.

Primary Location: District-Wide Services

Required Qualifications Minimum requirements will be appropriate licensure with the State of Oklahoma in the field of Social Work. Qualified applicants will have completed all Bachelors and Masters Degree studies in the area of Social Work, and will have at least one year of related experience in the area. Preferred Qualifications LCSW certification is a plus, but not required. TITLE: INTERMEDIATE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

REPORTS TO: Principal

SUPERVISES:
•All staff assigned to the school.
•All other resource and service personnel while functioning in the assigned school.

JOB GOAL: To relieve the principal of such impediments as to prevent him/her from fulfilling his/her chief responsibility of promoting the educational well-being of each student in the school.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assists in the scheduling of classes; supervises the extra-curricular activities program.
•Assists in the preparation of student schedules.
•Works with department heads and faculty groups in compiling the annual budget requests.
•Requisitions supplies and equipment, conducting inventories, maintaining records, and checking on receipts for such material.
•Assists in the responsibility for coordinating transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services.
•Supervises the reporting and monitoring of student attendance, and does investigative follow-up actions where needed.
•Supervises conduct within the school and oversees all disciplinary procedures, keeping records of any disciplinary action.
•Assists with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing the educational program and related activities and objectives.
•Works with the principal in promoting the in-service program of the staff, and assists in the Community Awareness Program.
•Assists in textbook and supplies distribution and inventory.
•Works with the principal in the preparation of the student handbook.
•Assists the principal in the general administration of the school, and serves as principal when the principal is absent.
•Keeps confidential records of special students and supervises IEP conferences when necessary.
•Coordinates the in-school suspension program.
•Assigns any extra duties as necessary to teacher.
•Does monthly dropout report for state department and assists with other state reports as necessary.
•Obtains substitute teachers and/or “covering” teachers where necessary.
•Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal may from time to time assign.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
•205 days per year

JOB SUMMARY: This person will assume responsibility as a member of the Superintendent’s administrative team to provide leadership in school improvement throughout the district. The major responsibilities include the overall supervision of secondary, intermediate, and alternative school programs. The person in this position reports directly to the Superintendent.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Facilitate the development and implementation of district long-range goals.
•Assist in planning and reviewing district budgets to ensure expenditures reflect district goals and priorities.
•Coordinate district-wide efforts to provide excellence and equity of educational opportunities for all students.
•Collaborate with the Superintendent’s administrative team to develop highly effective K-12 leadership and programming.
•Facilitate the growth of secondary and intermediate administrators as instructional leaders.
•Provides leadership and vision to promote the establishment of an inclusive culture that supports student growth and development in matters relating to student discipline, alternative education, child welfare and attendance, guidance services, and school safety.
•Observe, supervise, and evaluate the performance of secondary and intermediate principals and communicate with them regarding their professional performance and growth.
•Lead strategic change that continuously elevates the performance of schools and sustains high-quality educational programs and opportunities across the district, including University partnerships supporting student achievement.
•Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and assignment of secondary administrative personnel.
•Engage in your own development and continuous improvement to help principals grow as instructional leaders.
•Provide leadership in using effective research based practices to increase student achievement.
•Facilitate district committees or groups to review best practices, programs, or services in secondary schools.
•Disseminate site and district data to assist building administrators in school improvement efforts.
•Participate in work of local, state, and national education associations and leadership groups.
•Represent Yukon Public Schools in various school related community programs and activities.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
•Valid Oklahoma School Administrator’s certificate
•10 years combined experience in a common education school setting; 5 Years of successful leadership at the site or district level, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
•Master’s Degree required; Doctorate preferred
•Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: experience in supporting student achievement in the following areas: supervision; curriculum and instruction; leadership development; and program development.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
•Will be required to regularly stand; walk; and sit for extended periods.
•Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
•May experience constant interruptions, inflexible deadlines, and changes to normal routines; flexibility is required including night time meetings and activities as well as meetings outside the normal work day.
•The ability to communicate with various groups of people is essential. This may include communication with parents, teachers, transportation, administrators, and outside agencies.
•Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
•Frequent nighttime activities and occasional weekend activities are required.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
•238 day contract, 8 hours per day
•Salary placement based on administrative experience, building level or above
•As of the 2023-2024 school year, benefits include: fully paid Oklahoma Teachers’ Retirement; health insurance for the employee; vision insurance for the employee; $10,000 life insurance policy; 10 days paid vacation with the opportunity to increase to 15 days; 3 days personal leave; 3 days annual leave; and 12 days of sick leave.

The Finance/Payroll Specialist will support the district in various financial functions, interacting with administrators, staff, educators, and vendors when necessary.

Specific responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):
-Oversee the District ProCard (credit card) System,
