Job Summary:
The Algebra I Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, rigorous instruction aligned to state standards and the high school Algebra I curriculum. This educator plays a key role in helping students build a strong mathematical foundation by developing their skills in linear equations, functions, inequalities, and data analysis. The teacher uses a variety of teaching strategies, technology tools, and formative assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners and ensure student mastery of critical concepts.

In addition to academic instruction, the Algebra I Teacher fosters a classroom environment that promotes inquiry, collaboration, critical thinking, and a growth mindset. Instruction should reflect the principles of the Oklahoma A+ Schools framework, integrating the arts, interdisciplinary learning, and multiple intelligences to support creativity, engagement, and whole-child development. The teacher works collaboratively with colleagues to plan instruction, analyze student data, and implement school-wide initiatives that support both academic and social-emotional growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily lessons based on the Algebra I curriculum and state standards.

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including students with IEPs, English language learners, and advanced learners.

Use a variety of instructional strategies, manipulatives, and technology tools to enhance student understanding.

Develop and administer assessments to measure student progress and guide instruction.

Analyze student data to identify learning gaps and adjust instruction accordingly.

Collaborate with fellow teachers, instructional coaches, and support staff to improve student outcomes.

Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid state teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics or appropriate endorsement.

Strong knowledge of Algebra I content, pedagogy, and assessment practices.

Job Summary:
The Secondary Special Education Teacher plays a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs by providing specialized instruction, accommodations, and interventions tailored to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
