General Job Description: Provide instructional leadership to staff including curriculum planning, review and implementation, and professional development. Responsible for day-to-day building administration and the safety and welfare of students, staff, and activities; and oversee the completion of all reporting requirements for the high school site.

Qualifications:
1. Current Oklahoma Teaching Certificate, Principal Endorsement for Secondary Education
2. Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field
3. Minimum five years teaching experience
4. Secondary Administration experience in addition to teaching experience preferred
5. Knowledge of technology and software utilized in the education field

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Interacts with and motivates students and staff to encourage performance at the highest level
2. Manages all building staff, certified and support
3. Prepares the master class schedule, assigns teachers to classrooms, and oversees assigning students to classes
4. Completes performance reviews on all building staff
5. Conflict resolution including staff, students, parents, and community members
6. Provides general supervision to students
7. Supervise extra-curricular activities
8. Evaluate performance of teachers, programs, and staff
9. Provide professional development to teachers as needed
10. Manage the high school site budget and facilities
11. Maintain relationships with staff, students, parents, parent groups, school volunteers, outside agencies, and community members
12. Implements policies and/or procedures provided by the superintendent, board of education, or agencies at the state or federal levels
13. Maintain positive and professional work relationships with supervisors, other members of the administrative team, students, staff, parents, and community members
14. Maintains consistent and punctual attendance
15. Performs other duties assigned by the superintendent or board of education
